Dr. Sean Hsieh is research faculty from Mechanical Engineering Department. His specialties are in the areas of database system design, implementation and optimization with particular emphasis on knowledge discovery and mining. He has been working in the IT industry for years prior to joining UNLV. His PhD was received at Oklahoma State University.
