Amonix System Clark Station Minimize

The 3 Amonix IHCPV units at Nevada Power Clark Station
In March of 2006 there was an Amonix 75-kW installation at Nevada Power Clark Station.
UNLV, NREL, and NPC have collaborated together to monitor and maintain the 3 units. This installation will contribute 175,000 renewable energy credits to Nevada’s aggressive Portfolio Standard (PS). As part of the monitoring a weather station was installed 80 feet away from the units to conduct analysis on the unit's performance.

These look like the one at UNLV and are rated the same (25 kW), however some modifications have been made. The geometric concentration ratio of these units is 460:1 where as the UNLV unit is 250:1. In addition to that, new advanced receiver plates that increase the systems efficiency and reduce costs were used.
